Visa Travel Money Card for Commbank

I was contracted by Visa to uplift the Travel Money Card product within the CommBank iOS app, serving ~150k active users (~4k DAU).

In under a year, I was able to deliver the following results:

1. Delivered a 50% improvement in Travel Money Card activation reliability

2. Migrated off legacy APIs, enabling card credentials access and card locking functionality

3. Replaced 7 manual regression scenarios with automated UI tests

4. Earned AWS Certified Developer Associate in order to contribute more effectively to backend and architectural decisions

5. Gained hands on experience with CommBank internal tooling: TeamCity, Observe, Adobe Experience Manager, and in-house feature-flagging tools

6. Leveraged AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cline, Roo-Code, Claude) primarily for code generation, code reviews and test generation
