Project Lumos

"If the user can’t find it, it doesn’t exist" - HFI Button

Project Lumos was an experimental project I worked on with two computer science students (Maziyar Malakouti Khah and Grégoire Katz) to explore the possibility of using low energy beacons to enhance the way people experience a city.

We built an iOS app as a proof of concept which integrated an Estimote beacon to show use cases of how such technology could potentially be useful for the retail, entertainment and hospitality industry.

Project Lumos was built with start up pitch competitions in mind so building an MVP was only one part of the puzzle. Furthermore, there was a need to develop marketing collateral which led me to collaborate other creatives on this project such as a voice over artist, a graphics designer and a motion graphics expert.
